The Fraudulent Four
The following four developments were completed by the City of Revere, and the State of Massachusetts during the Covid-19 Pandemic. While citizens were locked down, state leaders were busy pushing new construction and development as part of their unconstitutional MBTA Communities Act. Local leaders and politicians in Revere took advantage of this confusing time to sell off parts of America's first public beach, Revere Beach Reservation. All of the properties on this list are tied to that theft, and considered illegal. Whether a public safety facility used to change building code for its residential area, or one of several consolodated properties on Revere Beach Boulevard that were cleverly combined. None should have been allowed to move forward. So far, at least one identified property has been tied to foreign investors, and had nothing to do with either the MBTA Communities Act or the housing issues our leaders always seem to be trying to solve. Without the cover provided by our corrupt legislators, government agencies, and others these schemes never would have made it off the ground. Real Local News doubts that even the brash, wise guy wannabes in Revere City Hall would have attempted such a brazen theft without the blessing of government officials. They all have failed us. RLN calls on Attorney General Andrea Campbell to hold all those responsible for this economic and environmental disaster to be held accountable. They have forever changed Revere's conservation wetlands, stolen money from taxpayers, and lowered the quality of life for all citizens of Massachusetts. Many of the new properties identified here will need to come down. Note: These are just the first 3 properties that RLN has taken on as part of its investigation. RLN fully believes that there will be more projects to investigate. We report, you decide. |
